  • The surface of Antarctica is all made up of ice and snow.

  • The snow in Antarctica is about 200km deep.

  • The landform you would see in Antarctica is glaciers, icebergs, ice caves, ice mountains and more.

List of Flora and Fauna in Antarctica..

  • In Antarctica you can find simple plant life such as algae, mosses, liverworts and lichens.

  • In Antarctica you might see Seals, Birds, Krill, Blue whales, Plankton, Adelie penguin, Emperor penguin, Leopard seal, Killer whale and small Fish and Squid.

Should there be tourism in Antarctica?

  • It is true to say that tourism to Antarctica is not hurtful to the environment because it can help people to be aware and informed of Antarctica issues to protect it.

  • It is foolish to deny that tourism to Antarctica is not hurtful to the environment because you could have wonderful memories of a unique continent.

On the other hand...

  • Im also of the opinion that tourism in Antarctica is hurtful to the environment because vehicles create pollution that can damage the natrual habitats of living animals.

  • It stands to reason that tourism in Antarctica is hurtful to the environment because the vehicles that humans drive in Antarctica could accidently hit an penguin or seal or could destroy there habitats.
